Daiya • Founded 1950's • Tokyo / Japan An important toy maker from Tokyo, active through the postwar period. Daiya appears to have been most active from the late 1950's through the early 1970's, after which they disappeared from view. Daiya's current disposition is unknown, but it is presumed to have succumbed to marketplace pressures of the early 1970's period. |
