My
name is Bart Bullens, I am 38 years old, and I live in The
Netherlands.
I
have been a truck driver for more then 15 years and at this time
I am working for a company named Verhoeven Logistics, based in
Uden.
I
have been a Ford Mustang enthusiast since the early 90s. When I
bought my first Mustang, it was a Fox chassis Mustang III from
1979. From that first Mustang until now, I have always favored
the Mustang III models. Since those Mustangs have always been my
favorite models, I now drive a 1986 Mustang GT Convertible.
I
have been collecting Mustang modelcars since 1998 and at this
moment I have over 1750 Mustang modelcars in my collection. My
collection is still growing and growing. In The Netherlands most
of the Mustang modelcars are hard to get so I purchase 95% of
them on Ebay.com or at webstores in the U.S.
Three
years ago I started this website/database because there was no
useful Mustang modelcar databases available on the internet. I
had not imagined the huge number of Mustang modelcars that have
been released. Every week I find new pictures and information
about Mustang modelcars I have never seen before.
Maybe
someday I will complete this database…….

Robert
Gesling , Mustang modelkit collector
My
name is Bob Gesling from Blue Grass, Iowa U.S.A. and I retired
from Alcoa Inc. in 2004. My interest in Ford Mustangs stems from
working in a Ford dealership as a young man and I have been
collecting Mustang model kits seriously for about twenty-five
years. Initially my goal was to buy and build one model kit for
every year of full size production from Ford Motor Company.
Since that time and due to the wealth of model Mustangs released
by many different companies, the goal has changed to collecting
one example of each kit and or release ever made. This goal was
further pushed by issue number 65 of Scale Auto Enthusiast which
I used as a guide for many years. As you can see from Bart’s
site the number of kits produced across the world is large and
growing.
As I surfed the web looking for Mustang model kits and
information concerning them, I ran across Bart’s very
excellent site. While I knew Ford Mustangs had been sold
throughout the world, imagine my surprise when the most
comprehensive site I could find was run by a fellow enthusiast
from the Netherlands.
Bart and I are in communication every few days and by
sending him the most accurate and up to date information on kits
in my collection I hope to help other collectors, dealers, and
interested persons answer any questions they might have. I would
encourage anyone who has information that we’ve missed to join
Bart in providing it for our fellow Mustangers.

I
am Jeroen from Utrecht, Holland.
I
collect diecast Mustang models for 10 years now. I used to
collect everything that came in my way, but since a year or 2, I
specialized my collection in Hot Wheels mustang models, and
sometimes, I buy more detailed 1:18 scale ones.
Because these are quite expensive, and hard to find in
Holland, I started to make my own Custom detailed 1:18’s, and
they are some of the most beautiful cars in my collection.
The
Hot wheels cars I have, vary from the Redline ERA to the newest
simple mainlines, and I collect all the variations etc. I have
close to 150 HW’s. Now, and still counting….
When
I was looking for diecast car databases, I found this site, and
contacted the webmaster, Bart. I used his database as a
checklist for what I have, and would like to have.
We
met a couple of times at Mustang shows, and when I found out I
had some models not listed, I helped him out with some pics.
Jeroen.
